Welcome
Welcome to the first R&B eNewsletter.
As our world becomes more digitally focused, design must follow suit. This is particularly relevant for email newsletters, which face many challenges in the face of technology. There are so many different email programs around - how do you design a newsletter which will display correctly in all email programs but also look on brand?
This is a challenge considering some email clients block images, some break the layouts and only certain fonts
can be used, to mention a few of the many limitations. We faced this very challenge when designing our newsletter.
But this isn't bad news - keeping design simple and returning to the fundamental elements of brand is all it takes. Cutting through the 'add ons' and getting back to basics - good, clean design. Hence the name of this newsletter.
With an understanding of your brand, excellent design and a superior command of the technology, we can achieve
a consistent, branded message - across all collateral, including eNewsletters.

R&B Develops for Random House UK
R&B Digital have been working closely with Airlock, a digital agency based in London to develop 2 new websites for Random House in the UK. The first, AuthorsPlace, could be described as a ‘MySpace for authors’, and allows authors to create and manage their own webpages, and directly interact with their fans.
The second, ReadersPlace (which is still under development), hands the spotlight over to the book lovers, and gives them the facility to find out more information about their favourite books and authors, enter competitions to meet their favourite authors and even create and manage their own book clubs.
We have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of working with export markets and getting the job done - despite being on opposite time zones!
